How long it takes to put on the Dainese Wave Pro Jacket

The one thing that may prevent me from buying a bike is because of how expensive the gear is.

Can someone tell me how long does it take to put on the Dainese Wave Pro Jacket? Im trying to find a store around here that has one so I can try it on.

Yeah, well if you are going to buy Dainese, you will have to part with a lot of your hard earned cash. But if the cost of gear is the deciding factor, maybe you should try something else... That's like wanting to go skydiving, but saying parachutes are too expensive!

How LONG does it take to put on the jacket? Maybe a few seconds longer than a normal jacket?

Same amount of time as a regular jacket. Yes.
Maybe add 2 seconds to fiddle with the zipper.

Good safe gear can be had reasonably, I spend more on tires and oil changes each riding season than I have invested in my gear

It takes about 1:30 once you get used to it. It goes on faster if you have a base layer (Under Armor, Defeet, etc...) as opposed to a t-shirt.
I have one that I use for downhill mtb racing.
I've actually worn it under a mesh motorcycle jacket in the summer to see if it breathed good. Worked pretty good.
Still, it's a lot easier to just put on an armored jacket.
I do use the back protector alone in my leather jacket and suit and would use the complete jacket if track riding.
Motorcycling is like church...Many people participate, yet few understand.
