I always do, when I do wear my pants. I have the Alpinestars A-10 leather/textile pants and if I don't zip them to my jacket they don't really stay up very well. It's a lot more comfortable and I do feel more secure.
It's pretty easy so not much of a hassle for me.

I have. I found it to be a pain. Literally. After 2 shoulder surgeries trying to find and zip the dang things was frustrating and it hurt.

I usually do as it could possibly keep my pants up/jacket down in a crash... the more material between road and skin the better!

I wear riding jeans, so I don't zip my jacket to my pants... but I do secure the jacket loops to my belt to help keep the jacket down and my jacket up.
I probably should when I take a trip. I'm not going to do it for a 20 minute ride to work.
But HOW do you do this?
Do you zip them together when wearing them? Seems difficult.
Or do you just lay the jacket and pants down on the bed and zip them together that way.

My jacket and pants match, so zipping them together is easy. It only goes around about 3/5 of the way. From the front side of the left hip all the way around to the front side of the other hip. Takes about 5 seconds.
I didn't answer the poll because I always wear 1-pc riding suits. Easy on, easy off, over dress clothes. Very comfortable while riding. I haven't worn any of my 2-pc gear since I got these.

http://store.teizms.com/mojave - textile mesh suit for hot weather
There are lots of choices in 1-pc gear but I chose Teiz for the price and great customer service!

Hi Viz and Lights are better than loud pipes.
I zip all the time. my leathers are a 360 zip so so its easy to do. I zip it while wearing it. And at the track i take it off between every session. I also have a 1 piece textile so no need to zip that. The little 8 inch zip some jackets have is a pain to connect.
My mom says I should, but I always lie to her.
She's a pesky old b-itch.
When I am in my two piece leather suit, yes. I don't see why I wouldn't. Unless I want my jacket pulled over my head and my skin worn off by the asphalt?

Resurrection! ... of an old thread.
Finally scored some matching pants to my jacket (Tourmaster).
Zipped them suckers together and haven't taken them apart yet.
I kinda treat them like a jump suit. Lay them on my chair and climb in, do my boots, close up the legs, then pull on the jacket.
These have two liners each and as summer has arrived I took them out. Tried them on the night before my first ride with them a couple weeks ago and the air flowed so nicely I actually sat there and watched TV all gears up for an hour or so before taking them off.
Not much of a pain at all and the whole protection factor makes it worth the effort for peace of mind.
