Racing Suit for 6'3" guy?
Well, thanks to Teacher posting his track day pics, I figure I might as well start too. I will need to pick up a full race suit and some better boots. I am 6'3" with a 34" waist and 34" inseam, which seams (no pun intended) to be a difficult size to find. Any suggestions?
Also, for those of you with race suits, One piece or Two?
Any suggestions on boots would also be welcome. So far I am looking at the Sidis, but they cost a bit much for me.

You might have trouble finding a suit that fits in the shoulders and isn't too loose in the waist. You might want to look at Custom leathers like SYED or Z Custom.
BTW, I LOVE my Sidi Vertabas. If they weren't barely 2 years old, I would buy a pair of the new Vertigo boots. I swear the Sidis saved my left foot last year when I hit the center divider doing 90. If I had been wearing my doc martins, the side tread would have gripped the wall and pulled my foot off.

I have the Teknic Chicane 2 piece suit from www.newenough.com I returned the 1 pc. because it was like getting into and out of a straight jacket, and the 2 pc. zips together. Also have SIDI strada racing boots (also from newenough) and they are fantastic. Only regret on the boots is I didn't get the model with toe sliders... http://www.newenough.com/product_group_boots_sidi.htm

I have been eyeing the Strada Evo Airs, since I live in TX, but I drool over the Vertigos.
I found some cool AGV suits on closeout at a few places, but I am not familiar with their stuff. Anyone have a take on their products?

AGV is not bad. I think their prices are low because they are so ugly. But you have to be careful. Some manufacturers use goat hide in their low end products. I can't remember which one it is. But their prices range from Goat, Brazillian Cow, Italian Cow, Kangaroo.
When shopping, I like KneeDraggers. They have a easy to read price list. I looked at NewEnough and compaired their prices toother sites, and didn't see any price advantage. At least not on the 1-peice suits.
Don't forget to check E-Bay also. You can find some good deals. I know a guy who bought a white & pink AGV, then used leather paint to change it to white & blue.

6'3" with a 34" inseam is a little outside the norm, so you might find that off-the-rack one piece suits won't fit you right. That leaves the custom suit option- Syed, Vanson (massachusetts) Z (Huntington Bch CA) or even Bates (Long Beach, CA). If you're only doing track days (not really racing) you could get by with a jacket and leather pants. Companies like Firstgear make this stuff so that they all zip together, it doesn't matter if you buy an XL jacket and a L pants, for example.
