Two Brothers full system on my 2012 Ninja 650!

I know everybody bags on the TB pipe, because it needs to be re-packed every 3 - 5K. Let me just say this, this pipe sounds absolutely freakin incredible! The fit and finish is fantastic, and the instructions were step by step with pics for each step, I am more of a visual instruction type person than reading the details, so this worked out great! So far I am more than happy with it, and at $580 for a full exhaust with a carbon fiber canister, on it, that seems like a decent deal to me! It looks incredible, almost stealth on the bike. Nice low rumble at idle, and then sounds deep and throaty up to about 5k and then it really opens up and sounds awesome. The weather here sucks so I only road it up the street and back, but so far, I love it!

Good luck with it. People don't like the carbon TB pipes on the 06-11 at least because they have to be REPLACED frequently.

What was the assembly like? Are the header and can all one piece or can they be split apart?

My two brothers exhaust is arriving tomorrow. Ordered it last week from ninja650shop.com and they sent it out pretty much straight away to Australia. Im going to put it on myself.. How long did it take roughly? Any tips on what to be careful of or watch out for?

I just installed a TB carbon fiber black series pipe about 3 weeks ago an I love the sound deff. a big change from the stock. The only thing i wasnt expecting was the rumble to be so deep an loud, but its a Twin so its either live to love it or trade it, But with the TB pipes you can alway pick up a sports tip to lower the decibles if you dont like how loud it is. They have 5 different colors on the TB raceing website in the 3-5 decibles and 2 colors in the 7-9 decibles. An yes the directions are really ez to follow but if ur still not sure you can find some videos on youtube that will show you full system an slip-on installations. Good luck and enjoy!!!

Love mine too, wouldn't trade it for another pipe! Just need to check that it's tight from time to time, and repack it around 3K and should be fantastic!

easy install sounds good. tip though on the under side that where the plastic that sits around speedo matches upto the fairing towards the front of the tank there are 2 or 3 plastic pops. they can be difficult to remove easy but they will pop off. took me 45 mins from start to finish. that was with a break to get a drink love it. it crackles a little when letting off but sounds beefy.

Hey guys, pardon my ignorance, I'm new at this bike stuff. What is a exhaust "re-pack"?

LOVE mine get plenty of compliments. one thing i would keep a check on, when i installed mine the bolt that holds the clamp tight was hard to tighten up so i go a longer bolt so I know i had it snug enough. The issues people are having seem to be that the vibration is working with a loose clamp and ripping the carbon apart. keep it tight and happy riding

Yea had all my revits fall out last yr . 3k is too soon for me. I'll repack it towards the end of the season. About 5,000 miles on there since I put the new can on last year. I'll just repack it yearly.
