Some guys on the sv forums take the f3 forks and use the lower legs of the sv to do the same thing. Here is a link to that how too since you probably can do the same with the ninja forks as they are the same size.

sportyaccordy, I've got a pile of ZX6F tubes. I cornered the ebay market for them before people started charging outrageous money. I don't know the relative lengths of the 650r vs ZX6E/F but they shouldn't be different by too much. Cartridges installed in stock (or ZX6E/F) tubes will let you keep everything else unmolested but get the amazing benefits of fully adjustable suspension. If you want me to build you as set, send me your busted up forks and I can send you back ready to bolt on.
I wound up getting someone else's race-grade 650 forks with emulators. If I upgrade again, it will be to the 636 front end. But thanks for the offer. You should put up a for sale ad, as I'm sure people will love this option once it gets warm.

StreetFighter conversion complete. Custom fab'd headlight and gauge mount. Gold painted calipers front and rear. D.I.D. RX chain and sprockets. Bedliner sprayed on tank and subframe plastics.
Ask me about microwaving cats for fun and profit!
I don't think he comes on here much, but I'll send him an email. He currently is doing cartridges in my sv forks.
Plus with the zx tubes your forks will stick out past the top triple, making it nice for people who want to put clip ons on the bike. Since its about impossible to get clearance under the triple.
$350+ship should do it with ZX6F uppers from my stash. $250 if you provide your own. I can't promise a fast turn-around as I'll have to do a bit of R&D on the matter. With any luck the parts for the SV version of the mod will just work as is. Source me a set of even unusable 650R forks (but not destroyed) and I can do the workup and turn-around time will be a few days once I have the parts made.
My apologies to CreatureCore about the timeline for your set. I had to make more parts than I had expected (for some reason I thought you had a Gen1) and these damn plastic gears the Chinese put in their machinery...
I'm making extra parts now, so if anyone else with an SV wants to jump aboard I'll have ready-made parts to pick from.
Its no problem, and i have 1 other second gen sv thats pretty much guaranteed to send his in after mine. Possibly 2.
have you measured Versus forks to see if they'll even fit? USD generally have very different dimensions at the triple-clamp. As I recall the Versus forks are also MUCH longer than 650r.
If you absolutely must have USD you're looking at a complete front-end replacement probably from a 636 or current ZX6.
I've ridden a race SV with both 45mm GSXR 600 forks and 41mm USD (gsxr 750) forks. The later was clearly more beefy but there wasn't that profound of a difference in front-end stability.
Versys forks def wouldn't fit in the 650's triples. I'd go w/the whole front end lowered
Im Switching My Forks Out Now And Im Having Trouble With The Upper And Lower Clamps Lining Up To Slide The Fork Up. Is There Something I Need To Do
Forks are a different diameter to the old ones?
