Corbin seat for 2015 650

This is a discussion on Corbin seat for 2015 650 within the Ninja 650R Accessories forums, part of the Kawasaki Ninja 650R category; I don't see a thread on aftermarket seats on the first few pages. Thought I'd post a picture for those considering. IMG_9096.jpg IMG_9104.png IMG_9098.jpg First ...

First impressions: I am going to love this seat. Sure, it's a bit more firm but it's incredibly comfortable. It does change your seating position a little bit, as it's a bit more upright (doesn't push you towards the tank as much as the stock seat), but there's no need for handlebar risers, at least for me. The passenger seat is an enormous improvement. It's a bit tight-fitting on the bike, but it works.

Looks better than I thought it was going to.

    I like it!

I had a Corbin on my 2013 Ninja 300 and plan on getting one for my 2016 +650.

Just curious of the particulars of the seat... which leather / texture did you select? (And it appears black leather with black welting and black Corbin logo?)

I initially wanted the carbon fiber leather but they were having issues with quality and aren't selling that leather right now. I'm glad it went that way because I love the look of this seat. The steal stitching adds no extra cost but it's absolutely the way to go. Secures the leather to the padding inside and there's less chance of the leather folding while I'm sitting on it.

Highly recommended. Came to $500 shipped. Could have gone front only, as the rear stock seat will work with the Corbin front, but I thought it would just look silly mixed and matched. Plus it'll keep the girlfriend happier...

    Thanks for the information!

I really like the stitch pattern. (I suspect it will not be as slippery as one without the stitching.)

This is on my "must buy" list for sure.
