    Mirror Mod....Tricked out!

So I didnt like my stock mirrors from the start. They functioned well but looked ugly IMO. So I traded them for some cool d2moto turn signal mirrors. Well that didnt really work out because they are super floppy and they dont provide very good vision. I finally had a wild idea to try bar end mirrors. I did my research and I liked the CRG Hindsight LS the best. I orderd 2 and then started thinking about what the hell to do about the holes where the mirrors go.. I took a chance and ordered some LED Leaf turn signal things originally ment for a zx-14 ($2 on amazon) that I thought would cover the stock holes. Sure enough they worked out perfect. The Hindsight LS's are amazing by the way. They have just a slight fish eye and if a car is behind me I can see him in both mirrors most of the time. Its like they reach around. I mounted them directly to my sport bars with no rubber or any vibration consideration and they do not vibrate at all. Im also using stock bar ends.

It looks good. I'm not opposed to the aesthetics of the OEM mirrors, but I'm not crazy about them either, and their lack of function irritates me. So now you've got me thinking about bar end mirrors -- it sounds like you picked some good ones.

I like your setup with those signals. I've been using a crg ls mirror for a few months and it's pretty awesome I only use one tho because they are so damn expensive.

There are pro's and cons to having them the way I do. I think they look better pulled in but with the way I have them they will not fold in. I dont know that I ever need that feature, I just wanted the ability.

I was wondering how bar ends would look on a faired bike. Do the blockoff signals come as a pack of two or are they sold individually?

The blockoff signals are sold in pair's, and they also come in a smoke color if you would like. I like the clear because it kind of has a smoke color to it to begin with and it allows them to be super bright at night.

Could you do a close up of just the mirror, front and back? I'm interested in how they mount. Do they have any other shapes? Everything is angular on the ER6N, the stock mirrors carry that "theme" on, that's the only reason I've kept them so far

I don't like the placement of the stock mirrors. They look fine. Just hate that I'm blocking them. I was to easily see cars stopping behind me at red lights. So awkward to drop my elbow to see.
