Probably not, butt it depends. If the cables or wires are tight, you will have to relocate behind the steering head.

Yep, I rerouted everything behind the triple tree. Best solution for risers.

Donny, I just installed the Bad Ace risers. They are great for what they are and really simple to install. NO relocation of cables or anything is required. Just unbolt the handlebars from below and screw the risers into the bars. Then bolt the risers on to the triple tree. Done.

Bad Ace made my riding position go from a pain to perfect in 10 minutes.

Indeed. I put them on (WAAAY easier than I thought as (like u said) no need to re-route). while I really had no complaints about the original position, it is a FAR more comfortable and relaxed riding position than before. Thanks for your input!!

Question about the risers. Are they threaded? I picked up a set that just had a through hole and the studs from the bars are too short.

Did you get universal ones? Sounds like you got the harley kind that would come with a longer bolt. Typically these have two mounting holes, one threads onto the original bar stud and then a bolt passes through from the bottom and threads/tightens into the riser.

Although its been a while and I switched out the bars long ago so maybe I'm not remembering it right.

Yes they are universal 1.25 inches. I didn't realize the bars had studs till I removed them.

Yeah not gonna work then. There's still a few places that make them for our bikes. Not horribly expensive but definitely not as cheap as Chinese made universal Harley parts. Kewl metal, bad ace, and a few others
