    Memphis Shades Batwing Fairing

I have a 2007 Mean Streak and I'm think about put a Memphis Shades Batwing Fairing on it. Has anyone on here put one on theirs? I was wondering how much modification must be done to the brackets to make it work.

Yep I have. All you need is the Mean Streak brackets for the fats windshield MEM9974. Then I just cut the top part on both brackets as close to the holes as you can where the top nuts bolt on to give you enough clearance to get the brackets to fit on the batwing.Thats it,really easy, mine works and looks great.

Got any pics of the bracket? Mines been sitting on a shelf because I never got finished making brackets. My first attempt caused too much buffeting.

Do you remember which motorcycle that you ordered the Batwing for? Also did you have to relocate your gauges to make it fit?

Once I figure out which model Vulcan your Batwing was ordered for I am going to order mine along with the brackets.

I've been looking for a memphis shades batwing fairing number for a long time. I've even asked a few people what they have on their bike. It seems like people immediately forget the p/n as soon as they buy it. I have heard it requires a lil fabrification but it's an easy install. If your jigging skills are good, give it a try

Yes I did put the bat wing on my bike Whitesmoke. The only other thing I did was make 4 brackets out of aluminum flat stock so I could move the fairing up a little higher. Otherwise it sits to low and covers the headlight. If I get a chance I will post a few pictures.

that was the problem i ran into with the headlight. I moved the bottom fork clamps up and made a new slot in the bracket and it worked out.
