I'll second the request for a recommendation of brand, size. Anybody feel strongly either way about heated grips vs. gloves?
01 ZR-7S: Corbin seat, Zero Gravity windshield, Jardine exhaust. Just received my Pelican cases and JC Whitney Givi knockoff and am working on a mounting system.
I would suggest gloves as heated grips only help your palms but gloves will warm the outer part of the hand up to the wrist which is whats exposed to the wind and gets coldest.
Some brands don't heat the thumb but these do.

My neighbor installed heated grips on his Goldwing and he is trying to convince me it's the way to go. For $30 and not much work I'm thinking it's worth a try. Here is the link he sent me.

I haven't tried heated grips. Went with the gloves instead because of multiple bikes.
JC Whitney carries some OK looking wind deflectors which will also help with the cold while riding.
The mean streak is my warm weather bike and fortunately we have warm days into December and again in March.
I have had good luck with Tourmaster Synergy heated gear. Got a good price from motorcycle accesories warehouse from their ebay store last winter.
