Highway pegs with no engine guard?

Hey all, what's the best and most affordable highway pegs we can get without having an engine guard? I saw in the pictures thread that some of you have pegs that connect to the frame. Where'd you get them?

    Thanks!

You just need the kind that clamp to the frame. Pretty sure it's 1-1/4" so your possibilities are rather limitless. Check out www.phatperformanceparts.com, I've always had good luck with them.

I have the Kurakyn ISO's and like them, infinitely adjustable to where ever you want them.

Pretty funny, from the angle I took the picture at, it is directly inline with the highway peg.

How do you use your rear brake with those? Looks like it'd hit real quick.

Jon, looks like you have installed what I have been thinking of...
How do they work in relation to the shifter & rear brake.
    Thanks,
    RGR

They do not interfere at all. In fact, very easy transition from stock pegs to highway and back. I have big feet (size 12) and have no problems. Very comfy when buring up the interstate to/from work.

Any chance you have close up pics of your pegs?

Check post #3 above, if that is not close enough, let me know and I'll take some other shots.

I can vouch for the Kuryakyn not interfering with the shift or brake as I have the same setup. The pegs use an offset adapter which allows you to rotate 360 to a comfortable position and thus, allowing you to set them away from the two controls. The only issue is making sure they are tighten down thoroughly.
