Don't worry buddy, once the bike is discontinued people will begin to buy them.

Motorcycle riding is like landing a jet on a carrier.....every time out, it's a controled crash, it's just a matter of how you crash it.

I'm not trying to be harsh...it was meant as a joke. I just find that some bikes aren't appreciated until they're gone. When I bought my zed it was the only one around the area that I live for a couple years. Now that the model is discontinued they seem to be everywhere. I can think of 11 Z1000s in the area just of the top of my head and I'm sure that there are more.

I love the Versys and I hope it does well in the American market. If I could afford 2 bikes I'd be in here chatting with you Zammy.

Of course, once they get discontinued the Dealer's slash the prices. Then that will attract a buyer away from a more popular bike to get one that has just as much performance but at a cheaper price tag.

I do have a feeling though that the naked bike scene is about to emerge in the States. I'm not sure if it's just me, but I'm seeing a heck of a lot more naked bikes around town, mostly they're Ducati Monsters and Aprilia Tuono's, but naked is naked. The trend is starting to pick up.

I know you were joking buddy! And the reason you cannot afford a second one is because of your avitar! Riding like that gives us all a bad name.....lol

I know this is the typical American thing to say...but I've been through Gander Bay twice now going to and from Iraq. I'd love to go there one day and check it out, the area outside of the airport that is. Ever been up there? We've also came through Maine on the way home and I'd love to check that out too. It looks beautiful from the air and the postcards they sell at the airport's gift shops of Arcadia and what not look gorgeous. But then again, pretty much anything beats Oklahoma....

Buddy of mine has a Versys and is extremely happy with it.

If I was more into taking the bike on camping trips and exploring the back roads it would most likely be my bike of choice also..... amazing price for excellent value.

Do they make the Givi luggage in that green? I bet that would look pretty nice.
