    Pics

Pleased you like the Pics guys, I thought they may have been a little boring, I am trying to give you a good perspective of Oz.

Yes 'pep similar transportable boiler that I inspect at bb, they were typically used 100 years ago as their means of power to drive such things as timber mills, mine equipment, and at sheep shearing sheds.

Pic7 stay within your limits guys

Tip of the day: Avoid these at all costs, particularly at sunrise and sundown, don't ride at night.

I saw lots of dead ones on the roadside, crows and other carrion soon devour them.

gg @ Perth, ava good day

    Graeme,
What is that critter on the sign that looks like an armadillo?

    Pic10 Ceduna SA, desert country

This one is mainly a reminder for myself.

That caravan is typical of what retired and other people tow behind their car/4 wheel drive and tour Oz

At this caravan park I was offered a little room for $16 or a camp site for $14, I chose the easy option.

Tent sites at caravan parks so far have ranged from $9 to $20, typical with all ammenties is $14

    Pic11 Typical Nullabour Plains view

I was told that Nullabour Plains was its best after some recent rains.

The country can be flat as far as you can see, Nullabour means without trees, only this saltbush as seen, no obvious life out here.

    Hi debed

That "doesn't like to fly problem" can be solved.

Wombat gg's definition a small furry marsupial, has strong claws and likes to dig in the ground they are quite heavy and a definite hazard to bikers, normally black in colour, the kids like them as they can be cuddly and friendly.

Pic12 I thought I was out in the middle of Oz

I was riding along cool/cold and then I could see the sea, I looked at the map and infact the Nullabour road follow the coastline for 100's km

I like this Pic, it was a beautiful day and shows the high cliffs in the Great Oz'n Bight

Pic14 The $9 oasis, all stars motel

I was told, "find some grass and you can pitch your tent"..... at the Cocklebiddy Motel

I had ridden over 700kms that day it was cold, but finding the grass was no mean feat.
