Since we are doing a show and tell here...kinda
Here's some pics of my Bridgestone BT-023. It is a dual compound, sport touring tire.
I put on the front and rear tires at the same time. They have approximately 8 thousand miles at the moment.

8000 miles?? They are in very good conditions!!! If you ride every day the tires are a good option, I ride about 6000km in 3 years, I prefere mount soft tires, only in Spring and Summer jijijiji!!!

Here is my BT-023. I don't like it one bit and can't wait for it to wear out so I can go back to Michelins.

I've heard good things about your choice (dunlop qualifier 2) and seems perfect for the type of riding you do.
I've found the BT-023 to be a good choice for me...I do ride all year round and it has performed well in both dry and wet conditions.

Wado, can you elaborate on why the BT-023 is not working out for you?
Do you have them both front and back?

To be honest I had a bad experience with a BT-57 many years ago and I think it has tainted my opinion of bridgestone ever since. I have a new Michelin Pilot Road 3 which replaced a pilot road 2 up the front. I got the Bridgestone 023 and it replaced a Michelin Pilot Road 2 on the rear. I only got it because the tyre shop didn't have the pilot roads in stock and there was a 2 week wait. I had to do my annual roadworthy inspection in a few days. So in a nut shell I think my dislike of them is purely psychological from a previous bad experience and the fact I had to put something on the bike that I didn't want. They are also not as good a wet weather tyre as the pilot road 2's. As you can see from the photo, my chicken strips are not that big, so it can't be that bad. The tyre has about 10,000kms on it.

The Michelin Pilot Road 3 are an excellent tires, my friend has this in a Honda VFR 1200 in wet are perfect you can do a lot of Km, they are expensive but are very good, I prefere to wait 2 weeks and not mount Bridgestone if you dont like this...

Wado, I've read similar things about the BT-023...that they weren't very good when mixed in with a tire that's not a BT-023.

If you read Smash's Bridgestone BT-023 review (I think it is in the Ninja 650 section)...he claims the BT-023 works well when both front and back are BT-023s, but not so good when mixed in with a different tire. That's also what the manufacturer recommends (but all manufacturers claim this ). I have them on the front and back and they have performed flawlessly.

Hhhmm still not sold on them and the Michelin pilot road 3 will be the next rear tyre. Plus I like trying to make the michelin man disappear

I've heard the pilot road 3 are outstanding.
It would a dilemma for me when I have to replace my tires (still a long ways away)
