    DIY Mods

I figured Id try to get a conglomeration of all the things you can do to your ZR with a stop to walmart, Home Depot, or equivalent. I've seen alot of stuff on here that would definately count as DIY, so hopefully this thread will see some use. Feel free to post up or PM if you got a good one, and I'll add a link into the initial post so that poeple dont have to search everywhere. I am also up to try more DIY mods, so all you gotta do is ask.

I guess I'll start it off. There are a bunch of these "mods" that are already posted.

Obviously, anything on the ZR-7 site is a bible to ZR owners:

    That's my bike!!!!! Awesome!!!!!!!!

Haha, I find the thread useful..... i'll have to come up with more mods for you to put on here :-P

The thing is our bike is not produced anymore... matter fact it hasn't been for a while..... so the amount of "new" owner to this bike is very low..... I guess that's why the forum is a little quiet lately.......

I look forward to it. Keep giving the rest of us ideas to make our low end, outdated bike more sexy than the new ones

Thanks for joining us from "across the pond". We've got a good number of members here from the British Isles.

As for starting a thread.... It is just an "Anti-SPAM" set up in the software. After this initial post and (I think) 24 hours, you will be able to start a thread.

If not, you can always PM one of the Moderators and they will be happy to assist you!

Have a good day and again,

It is a sentiment that submariners of all navies shared. We had long enjoyed a reputation as nonconformists who hated the monotony of fleet service. We disdained the pomp and circumstance of sideboys, buglers, and holystoned teak quarterdecks. We embraced the hardships of life in a steel tube and the go-it-alone missions that submarines were designed to do. We were a fighting elite, and we knew it.

There is a fender eliminator mod listed above. If you are talking about a real fender eliminator, then this is the wrong thread for you.

The search function will be your friend here. There are tons of posts on the matter, its just simply finding the keywords to match up withh your intended idea.

Surely you don't expect us to give up all of our secrets....

There are acutally 2 more styles of home made racks that I know of. I have one (maybe both) in the garage. I'll have to shoot a couple pictures for you during the week.
