It is a sentiment that submariners of all navies shared. We had long enjoyed a reputation as nonconformists who hated the monotony of fleet service. We disdained the pomp and circumstance of sideboys, buglers, and holystoned teak quarterdecks. We embraced the hardships of life in a steel tube and the go-it-alone missions that submarines were designed to do. We were a fighting elite, and we knew it.

Surething I'm sure you'll recongnize the these pictures. One is of the campsite at the dam and the other is the rock wall at the top of The Dragon. A group of us rode the Dragon and then stayed the night in Pigeo Forge back in October.

Hard to tell it is a 7S, but I like this photo I tossed the camera on the ground to get a shot of myself and Bone (fellow clubmember) down at the Marina in SF as we stopped whilst scouting a ride route through the city.

    Valgar,

I really like the angle of that shot. It rocks!

PS. I would recognise a ZR7 a mile away! I have so far to be wrong in saying "That is a ZR7" when I see one. Wether it is coming from the front, seeing it in my rear view mirror approaching, or coming up behind it .... There is something about the lines of that bike that I recognise EVERY time

Been awhile for my bike. Resting under a tarp, I think I see her shiver sometimes and it makes me sad. . . My WRX is getting a workout in this cold though.
