USS Sturgeon (SSN-637) - 1982-1986
--------------------------
It is a sentiment that submariners of all navies shared. We had long enjoyed a reputation as nonconformists who hated the monotony of fleet service. We disdained the pomp and circumstance of sideboys, buglers, and holystoned teak quarterdecks. We embraced the hardships of life in a steel tube and the go-it-alone missions that submarines were designed to do. We were a fighting elite, and we knew it.

The 01 was washed before the pic was taken, I'm sure. The 02 pic was taken up in Tazewell, VA when I was scoping out some roads 4-5 weeks before our last ROTR, hence, no major scrubdown out of town.Originally posted by MartyM

The ST works pretty good for us shorter folks - however, you do still get the pushed around some when you start getting up around 75mph or more (indicated) on the highway. Not a real problem cause I'm usually not doing major highway mile crunching anyway. The shield would probably work pretty well for you.

Road Rage is inversely proportional to road width.
