    I want to "monster-ize" my Z

So this is my dream project that has been boiling in my brain for a few weeks. I really like the monster version of the ZX-14 and I want to apply a similar style to my 03 Z1000. I'm thinking of a predominantly gloss black paint job with maybe a few hints of darker Monster green mixed in, but dilluted down so it's not so......bright green!!! I will add a few monster decals to take care of that. I have a few questions. 1)Did any of the Z's come with a green seat?
and 2) I want to do the paint myself, but I've removed a finish from any type of motor vehicle. I've only done plastic model work, where I could just sand it down. Has anyone removed the paint from their bikes? If so, what type of supplies did you use to do it? Would I be better off, just sending it in to have it professionaly sand blasted. I found a place near where I live that does powder coating (I'm going to have my rims done there). Do you think a place like that would simply do sand blasting alone?

If anyone has any info about any of this, I'd be much appreciative.

None of the Z's ever came with a green seat. They only came in black, or orange from '03-'06. I don't what colors the newer ones are, but they are not green.

figured, I thought I would have to recover my old seat or I wondered if the ZX-14 seat would be somehow interchangable.

Here's the ZX6R seat. Looks much longer like most sportbikes. Have you looked at a sewing/fabric store? That's where I got my black vinyl.

I went to a pro upholstery shop and got vinyl flex paint/dye. Worked AWESOME! Absolutely cheapest way to go.
The brand name on the can is SEM Color Coat. I went satin black and it matched my stock rear seat perfectly, I mean perfect.
No signs of wear and tear yet at all.

^ I think I bought one of those on ebay a while back on accident. I don't remember the brand though. Sorry. I forgot about vinyl paint. We did that with my old mustang. I'll definately look into that.

That's pretty cool, but I want to tone down the green more. Although the thought of pinstriping my rims like that had crossed my mind. I definately want the green chain and green seat. I might even paint the rad covers green. But I want most of the body work to be black (with only the monster logo supplying the green color) and maybe the rear tire hugger to be green.

I ordered one about two weeks ago from a company in the UK and paid for it, got an e-mail confirming my order and that was the end of it, I tried to contacting them by e-mail and no reply yet on the status.
