    Testing the Super Duke soon.

There's a guy in our riding group STLAR.com who has a Super Duke and I've been drooling all over it every time I see it. He just posted this on STLAR.com.

"I like that/your bike so much, I'm probably going to buy one next year. It's exactly what I'm looking for: Naked sport bike with Japanese reliability. Could talk you into briefly swaping rides? My Super Duke for the Z? I'd really like to see how your bike fits my body, and I'd like to experience first hand the suspension and performance as well...

I would pay him to ride that thing! Sweet.

SuperDuke is probably still the frontrunner for my next ride, but now I am wondering if they'll stick the RC8 motor into one!

I ride a Superduke regularly. My mate has an 07 model and he's always handing out go's on it.

It is awesome. His bike has Carbon Remus Hexacone pipes and a Powercommander. Sounds immense. Big wave of torque from anywhere in the rev range and super smooth delivery too.

I find the bike is a bit higher and narrower than the Zed, but the pegs feel lower. Might be because the seat is higher??

If i come into money it'd be between that or the silver and white Aprilia Tuono. Now that is a bike that makes me drool!!

Ya the dealer I bought my Z from sells Aprilias too. Seems no one in the U.S. buys them either. They're really nice.

My Mates got the duke, nice bike, plenty of torque and handles really well. Hes put a set of carbon Akrapovic's on it and it makes a big difference to power delivery and weight distribution. Highly recommended if you end up doing the deal.

As per sv's comment, my mate has been thinking of getting rid of his aswell as apparantly theres loads of rumours on the web about reliablility and he wants to go back to a Jap bike! might be worth trawling the websites first!
