You know what's funny, one of the first things that grabs your attention on the Z1K is the double shot exhaust on each side. Almost as if Kawi uses it to lure you in. You become hooked. Then, it seems, once you own the bike, that's the first thing you change, completely reworking the profile of the bike. And, from that last pick, for the better. Two-Bro's (NICE CHOICE ). But, has anyone seen an aftermarket dual tipped unit ?

Haven't seen anything like that yet. Muzzy is offering their systems for the Z1000 already. Nice performance upgrade, but the aesthetic would be shot because you'd be mixing aluminum with anodized gold. Ughh!

    Z1000 mods

I saw the Z1K several months ago, and the 4 pipes never did anything for me, although I really liked the rest of the styling. I'm a streetfighter guy, having built a naked, upright GSXR750 with undertail exhaust, etc.(now for sale!), and to me the Z1000 was the perfect bike that I didn't have to build myself (lazy). But the exhaust had to go. If someone figures out a clean undertail exhaust (possibilities include Wolf, Black Widow, maybe others), I'm there! I also have a brand-new stacked dual-canister Arrow exhaust meant for an Aprilia Mille- if I can figure a way to put those two cans on the right side, I'll definitely give it a try.
