I have just learnt that we now have an official Two Brothers Racing distributer over hear in the UK an intend to buy a set of Dual M2 Carbon Fibre Canisters for my 06 Z1000.
I think these cans are an awesome and as this is an American product can any of you guys give me any info of how they perform etc or post pics with them fitted.
I've got them on my SV1000S and they are the loudest exhausts I've heard. Even louder than the Art Race exhausts I've got on my naked SV1000. The Two Bros. M2's are sweet looking cans! High quality too. I think they look great on the Z1000 as well. Here's fiz1's Z1000 with the carbon Two Bros M2's:Exhaust Recommendations?

if you like the m2, you will probably like the M5 a little better, as it is a litlle bit bigger around. it is not listed on thier site however, they do make a set for the z1000. i have the titanium m5's on my 05 Z1K and i absolutely love them. i cut em down by 4.5 inches and that made em REALLY loud. put in the P1 power tip and they are just right now. ill try to get some pics up today or tommorow, or just look at the avatar
The act of riding is a form of meditation, because the concentration that's required to safely ride a motorcycle tends to focus the mind in a way that eliminates other mental distractions that might interfere with the mission. This creates a single-mindedness that, in effect, displaces the continuous stream of thoughts that normally flow through our consciousness.
here are a few pics
sorry it took so long to get the pics to you, im posting differently now. as far as how to cut them down, all you have to do is drill out the rivets in the bottom end of the can ( as though you were going to do a repack). Then grab a hacksaw or dremmel and cut the sleeve and inner tube as well as the steel wool to the desired length. then replace the endcap and mark where you need to redrill the rivet holes in the sleeve. pull the sleeve back off and drill the holes. BE VERY CAREFULL to drill the holes acurately to match the endcap! Then replace the endcap and rerivet back into place. it is really fairly simple.
heres the catch if you are not 100% completely comfortable with your own ability to accomplish this task, DO NOT DO IT! it doesnt take a whole lot of effort to screw up a set of 1000 dollar pipes.
thats my disclaimer, now go cut 'em up and enjoy the wicked sound you get from them after the cut. ( for the record i use the P1R tips to curb the decibel level but the still are fairly loud and soud REALLY deep)

Here you go, btw if you put on the TBR`s make sure to take off the bolts to put the bike on the rear stand or use a bigger washer cause the cans hit the bolt of the rear brake assembly and cf chips and breaks easily.
