I find the power band on the Z1000 to be so strong and sharp around 7500rpm that it seems to screw up any wheelie attempt. The second the tach passes seven it wants to shoot up past the BP.
This bike feels like it has a turbo or something. I like high end power, but it seems to come on awfully strong and sharp.
you'll learn to work with it. when i'm riding slow i will keep it below 7500 anyway and when i'm riding them fast i use >7500 to ride em anyway, you're wrist will learn about it an compinsate
