    Metal Tank Badge Removal

Hi. Just found this brilliant forum - already answered several questions for me.

Does anyone know if I can remove the metal Kawasaki badges on my tank with a bit of fishing line and maybe a hairdryer ? As I have done on several cars in the past.

Are they just stuck on or will it leave a mess afterwards ?

I am in UK but have just bought a new 06 Z1000 imported from California.

I know someone will have the answer. Thanks

Just heat them a little, peal them off and use WD-40 to clean up any glue residue. I got mine off with my fingers.

As mentioned use a bit of heat, use dental floss to lift the letters off.

Less chance of pulling paint that way.

Thanks for the tip. Took letters off in my dimly lit garage before I read it. Now anxious to get out there in the morning to see if any damage !!
