    KAWASAKI UK WEBSITE ROCKS

    Hello all, check out the Kawasaki UK site. Look at all the items available for the Z1000/Z750 from Kawasaki. Does anyone know if we can get these products? Why don't they have these items in the USA?

    You might be able to get discount from Alan the guy that runs K4U if you mention the MCNNinjas website when ordering

    Contacted Kawa UK

    Hi Guys, the following email was sent by me through the UK Kawasaki web page under disclosing my country and address as it is a possible choice/option in the online request form:

    Hi; Do you ship international (US)? What's about your local UK VAT tax? In case the answer is 'yes' I simply could deduct ~ 17% off the listed price? I could offer to ship on my expense providing you a FedEx account number and would be even willing to prepare a commercial invoice. Please let me know Thanks ...
    The (frustrating) answer:
    Sorry, Under the terms of our agreement with Kawasaki, we are unable to ship to addresses outside the UK. Suggest you try buykawasaki in the USA.
    My next email:
    Thanks Alan for your answer, highly appreciated;
    Though as it looks that these are original Kawasaki accessories, for example the mirrors and tank pad, they are not sold by Kawasaki USA.
    I do not believe that i.e. the mirrors are not sold because of local laws and restrictions in the US because I know for fact that European laws in regards of "street legal" accessories are much more stringent than any US State or Federal law. Any idea WHO to contact to get this stuff here.
    Thanks in advance ...

    Hey tyguy, try this instead: www.decaldriven.com I got mine custom made from these guys. I worked directly with Matt, he is Tony's partner in crime. I have a few different things from these guys, all very good work. They can make just about any decal or tank pad that you can think up. I emailed back and forth with Matt until he had a design that I liked. AWESOME work and customer assistance. They are very friendly and were really quick in designing, producing and shipping my decals. Just give them an idea of what you want and they will email you a design idea, you then let them know what you want changed and so on. I emailed pics of designs and told them how big I wanted the decals. They put the designs together and came out with just what I was looking for. I'll be emailing them again soon because I have some new decal ideas. Here are a few pics:

    Tyguy, I'm sorry you've had no success with them, It does seem to suggest that they do from the website as country options are listed on the shipping details request.

    I would actually agree with Kawasakifighters idea as custom made is always more rewarding when done well.

    But if you realy do want the UK part maybe one of us UK guys could help out.

    Honestly, yes I'd like to have this part BUT it's not about this particular part (a stupid tank pad...) it's about that a worldwide operating company simply doesn't offer some (for the Z 750/1000 almost all) nice accessories here in the US. I don't want to say "money is not an issue" but why should I pay a.) 16 or 17% VAT tax + intl. shipping for a part I could order or buy here just with ~ 8% tax and b.) a premium for shipping.
    A tank pad is not a big deal but if you take a close look on the European Kawi pages you get mirrors, turn signal relay in case you go to LEDs etc. and you don't have to hack what you may get here at the parts store.
    I'll get the pad, have enough friends on the other side of the pond, worst case I will bring one the next time I'm in Europe but the principal makes me think
