Hey evryone:
I need help finding out where and how to get a rear seat cowel for my '03 z-1000. the guy at the dealer said Kawi never made one. I know he's full of it.
Please give any help you can.

I personally wouldn't go to either one of those web sites without first trying to demand they find a way to come up with your cowl. It is suppose to come from the factory included with the bike. It is usually wrapped in bubble wrap in the back of a shop somewhere. This has happened on a few occasions to members on this site and I believe they have always ended up getting it. Some where forgotten in the back of shop and others were re-ordered by the shop at their cost and given to the customer. The dealers full of it, it comes with the bike at no extra cost. Make sure they give you what you've already paid for.

you would find a large discussion on it.
i was fortunate and mine was there at the dealer.

be persistent,stay focused and screw the dealer.

I wish that was the case here in Oz, When I looked at mine (new) it had the seat cowl on it, then I brought it and there was only the rear seat, I asked where the cowl was only to find out it costs an extra $170 odd as an optional extra, I almost felt ripped off!!!
