Whilst I do not want to encourage people away from this fine forum, I would just draw attention to the fact that there is a UK Z1000 oriented yahoo group if you guys are interested......
Anyhow, I'll see about August bank holiday - got some 'discussions' to have with 'er indoors....

Being not from England and just nosey was wondering if the Z1000 Yahoo club is for the new 1000 or the old, as it is at the owners club here.... You can be a social member of the Z1000 club here but as the bike is different from the older models it is unable to entitle you to full membership???

The group I was referring to (called Z1000UK I think) is for the newer Z1000 (2003 onwards).
I'm sure there is a ton of clubs for the older model as it's such a classic.

I have both models A 750 And 1000 lol
How about just all Zeds then 750 and 1000
Sherburn in elmet is in North Yorkshire
Not far from LEEDS or YORK

I'm also in North London.
Seems we've 4-5 in N. London & M4/M40 area (Berks/Oxons).
Maybe we could do something as a local group?
If I go out on a Sunday tends to be A41 Aylesbury way, or meet up with a mate around Toddington (SW London) and go out south of Guildford toward the coast.
