Well let me fill you guys in on whats what. Long story short, That guy that was doing my story in Cycle Dreams Magazine was try'n to get a Z-1000 Quad built by TOCC for me, but atlast he can not find the funding for it ( And No I'm Not Looking For A Fund Raiser ) but he was talking a very high amount $30K that I just dont see it costing that much, that might be why he cant get it done. Any way I just wanted to let you guys know not to look for me on the road anytime soon and a very BIG THANKS for the people that helped out and the suport I got. Thanks O-A

Someone needs to write up this for Jessy James and make it a Monster Garage project for a show. I'll bet with Jessy on side and about 6 or 8 of the more shop oriented members off this board we'd have OA on 3 wheel's well inside of the deadline.

I'd even use some of my holiday time for something like that!

Sure is too bad, pisses me off to know that there is surely someone with the funds to help you out (ex: dude that spends $7 grand per wheel on his H2 Hummer).

How is the condition of your Z now? Is the frt fixed?

I still can't see why the Quad swingarm and axle couldn't be done temporaly until you get the funds for the trike conversion.

As far as I know you were quite advanced in that project.

O-A as for the fund raisers, it's not an issue of pitty for you but us wanting to help a fellow member. As a group it's easier to raise money than one person alone.

Give us an idea of what is needed to finish that bike so we can get you rolling. I'd probably never meet you in person but a pic of you on a bike would surely put a smile on my face.

Don't discourage yourself, faith is powerful.

My bike was trash, busted frame and motor case, plus the insurance Co. sold it before I even woke up in the ICU. And no I never really got anything going but planes on what to do, some people sent me some small parts and had AEflash and Co. raise some $900 thats still in a save'ns account but thats it, no bike. Like you said there are people out there that can put down $15K and not bat an eye, but I dont know them. And I'M not like some that ask to Buy me a bike I have a LandRover I have to pay repairs for But now I dont mind asking for you guys to write to Jessie James now. Thats a good idea. Z1000 monster trike build off!

I imagine Jesse James would probably be more into american iron for a trike than an import.

There are a lot of builders out there, why not hit them all up. If that guy from cycle dreams is still interested you have a pretty good pitch because of the exposure they'd get.

I hope something works out, I'd love to take part in something like that!

I just joined the Monster Garage forum and put a short about this on the forum, but now the more people that do this the better, plus if more people email Dan Greene at CycleDreams web site that may help also.

Post some links, it would be easier for the contacts (Jessy,etc....)

mrmurphy, Jesse James built a bike in a Cycle WOrld mag that used the VTX engine. Said something about liking them morte than the american bikes I believe. Have to check my issues and get back to you.........
