So after much debate on whether to buy the catalyst tail, ermax seat cowl or make my own.. decided the cheap and fun route, make my own! At first I started with a cardboard mould, that I then covered in modeling clay. Turned out ok but not what I was looking for. So the next attempt I just decided to cover the seat with masking tape, build a little bit of a "hump" with cardboard and then started the fiber glass stage.. Heres some pics. for the progress.. I was also looking at catalyst and the other cowls on eBay but the thing w/ the one on eBay doesn't look bad but it's just not what I'm looking for, the catalyst one is great but automatically eliminates the back lights. So I won't get that one, so I too was looking to customize one myself, i like what ur doing looks like little by little it's getting better

Thanks, ya the ones on ebay are ok. just a little plain for me! You can do tail/brake lights with the catalyst. you have to get either the street version, or race version, then get the 636 tail light.
