Some pics of my almost finished project.

This is 2009 650r, I bought the race uppers and did the 636 headlight cutout, currently installing rx-2n gp style Koso gauge.
It has two brothers exhaust with a two brothers fuel controller pro, also did the common airbox mod.
Custom rearsets. Uhm I made my own seat that's velco'd on. The rest I think it obvious.

Well what do you guys think so far? I also painted it myself, first time ever lol.

Unpainted, had mounted up to tape up.

Yes, I didnt have the headlights wired in the picture yet. And for my tail light I am using one of thos LED ones I found on ebay I believe.
I am also currently having the side panels (i have cut them to fit) wrapped with carbon fiber vinyl stuff.

i think that the stock fairings of the 2nd gen 650r look much better. i don't see much of a point wasting the money/time to buy those cheap looking zx6r wanna be replica fairings when they look worse. maybe if you had a 1st gen, but a 2nd gen hell naw

I plan on tracking it soon, I was not into the upright position. Plus my stock fairings were trashed, I rather have clipons with a fiber glass body over plastics.. On top of that I put in custom rearsets to chnage the body position into a way more aggressive feel. It feels like riding a completely different bike, much better than stock imo.

looks good. Do you have more pictures of the build? Any more details about "race uppers" and "636 headlight", what model and year fits the 2009 ex650? Did you have to switch to the koso gauge to make the headlight assembly fit.

Well I prefer the koso gauge I could have kept that the same. the body was not even close to fitting my 09 ex650, Lots of customization was made to fit. The headlights need to be spliced other than that cutting the fiberglass for them to fit in is such a hassel i ended up messing up and just made a way bigger hole and basically remoled it then refiber glassed. I made the headlights mount under the fairing bracket. I am currently out of town so i dont have the rest of the pics with me at the moment.
