What did you use to cut the fairings for the eyes?
I am thinking of also doing this, i want the 05-06 636 eyes on my 07 ninja. I love my bike to death, but i just cant stand its headlight. kinda like loving your ugly son. lol.
so i pretty much buy the
-"Catalyst Composites Race Upper cowling for the Ninja 650R"
-"05 06 zx6r 6rr 6r 636 zx6rr headlight light "
Then cut out for the eyes to fit? you think I could still use my stock 07 650 lower cowls.
any advise for cutting? im I just wanna get that head light! not looking for any other gauge installation.
It's alot more work to do than it seems, what i did to cut out the headlights were to trace them then cut it out from body. I like most people end up messing up on this and I had to refiberglass the hole and sand it down. And you cannot keep the lower cowls, also you need to buy the fairing bracket, and windshield, and then clip ons (handle bars must be under the triple tree) then keep in mind its not painted, screws/holes, etc.
If any more questions feel free to ask!
thats the way a 650 should look like

If I was concerned about gas mileage I would of bought a MOPED
wow thats awesome very good work man i love it this is my passion i want to get into custom making bikes this gives me so much encoragement to keep dreaming what i wanna do thanks
I can't say I understand why you would do that to a Ninja 650. However, with any great personal artistic endeavor most people aren't going to be able to understand the motivation and that's perfectly alright. It looks amazing, and I hope that it gives you a lot of enjoyment!

Hey Henry, I have an '09 and just ordered the Catalyst body work. I have the seat and windshield already but I didn't order their fairing brackets and I do need those correct? Also is there any tricks or really any heads up you can give me on problems you remember having with the install? Any info would be much appreciated!
Wow I like it alot man! Bike looks awesome. The paint is great too, nice color choice/color combo.
