Thanks for the replies guys, reason I was wondering was cause I could've gotten that jack for like 35$ on Craigslist by me. I'll just hold off and get real stands then. Happy New Year everyone!

I don't think they are on sale anymore but $89 isn't bad.

I do not see a front stand on HF's website

I have the swingarm stand from HF. If I were to do it again I'd go with spools.

They run that sale a LOT. They're no where near as solid as the Pitbull stands but work fine and I'd say they ARE better than the HF stands (though I never used those, just checked them out in the store).

Smash the front stand from harbor freight is just an adapter that they charge 10 bucks for that replaces the top of the rear stand. So you would need to buy another rear stand and then get the adapter for 10 bucks 5 when on sale.

And then modify it to work with the Ninja. Meh, rafters and straps are working just fine for the just under 2x per year I need a front tire.

Yeah no real need for a front stand if you can safely hang it from rafters for just tire changes or a quick fork service.

I just bought the cycle gear stand for $45 yesterday as 01/02/12 was the last day they had it on sale. Their sales are usually season to season so expect it to stay at $90 for at least a few more months. They basically rotate 1/3 of their stock to sale price at any given time.

I know Cycle Gear is slowly becoming my favorite accessory store for just about anything.

Man, I hate it when stores do that, why don't they just have reasonable prices ALL the time? Do people really pay $90 for one of these stands? I know if I did, I feel like I had been "duped" when I found out they are frequently "on sale" for $45.

Ah Com'on Sarge, Concidering similar stands go for $150 and up, $89 is not a bad deal. Don't get me wrong, I paid $45 for mine and I appreciate that they were on sale, but even at $89 it's not like you're getting ripped off or Duped. All stores have sales, don't they?

I have GPI brand stands. I don't have the headlift adapter yet but like the normal stands just fine. They're not pitbulls but get the job done well.

    http://gpiindustries.com/

They only sell "factory blemish" but they look just about perfect. He runs an ebay store also so they can be had for cheaper than the website. Great customer service too.
