Profiling at it's best...
Hit a road block while on a popular motorcycle road (301 in NY) today while on the bike. Was pulled over without cause so they could check my license, registration, inspection and modification to the bike. They were only pulling over sport bikes. No tickets, but WTF.
On a side note, last week I had ridden the same road and was passed by several guys ALL on track bikes, no head lights, blinkers, licence plates in full leathers. So I assume they were getting a lot of complaints.
And for those of you who read my ZG thread, the screen works well, I can't say that it is a noticeable difference other than the screen itself is less wide when compared to the stocker. Pics coming soon.

every now and then around here the law will set up a temporary check point. i don't have any trouble with it. hopefully they catch some uninsured vehicles that are causing you and me to pay higher rates.
i haven't seen any of these check points for quite some time, though.

Apparently they're doing that around here too (SoCal), setting up checkpoints on the twisty roads and pulling over as many motorcyclists as they can..
Perrazimx apparently got pulled over for riding his bike "like a g*y" but no ticket was given..

no such thing as being "pulled over with no cause".
They have the power to pull you over whenever they want and were probably responding to complaints.
The squids are ruining it for the rest of us, which is why I give them as little respect as possible

Fight the power!
Checkpoints are illegal if they only pull over certain people. I forget which state got taken to court, but the US Supreme court ruled that random checkpoints were illegal unless the checking was "random" in that they pulled over x number of vehicles out of a total of Y cars. Like 1 in 3, or every 5th. They can't just say "grab every black car" or "grab every sportbike." It's illegal search and seizure.
But try arguing that on the side of the road.

Didn't they use checkpoints in NAZI Germany awhile back?
Yeah, in Texas, the DPS brass were talking about doing checkpoints for some reason or another. Then this guy Alex Jones reminded them that checkpoints are unconstitutional.
LEOs are supposed to uphold the constitution and here they are thinking about violating the Fourth Amendment (Amendment IV) to the United States Constitution which guards against unreasonable searches and seizures.

Patriot Act -- they can pretty much do whatever they want now. You can thank that idiot of a president we had.

Haha this one hits home all too well. In my city, there is basically like 1 road that is any fun for twisties. But its really just one long twistie haha. I live in flat a** Saskatchewan in Canada and the cops sit on this road pulling over only bikers. Also my most recent speeding ticket i was doing 77km in a 60km zone, i was behind the Ghost Car when i realized what it was and slowed down. Although a car PASSED both of us speeding he decides to pull me over and give me the ticket. When asked he said i had you already on the radar and he would have just been extra effort.... Young guy on a sport bike. Vs. Police opinion.... Haha
