Wow! The lower fairing and rearsets look so much better all black! So is that the one actual ER-6f imported from Europe or something? I noticed that on the side it actually said...ER-6f and not the Ninja 650R? I probably sound really stupid right now...but it's just a question. haha!

    Hey Wikkymaster......

What framesliders are those and how did you mount them? My biggest issue is that I don't know where to mount them and I want to make sure that they stick out far enough. I've seen some people who have sliders and they barely stick out from the bike! It's like...what's the point in that?! Help please..thank you.

Those are the R&G framesliders, they mount without cutting fairings. The kit looks pretty sturdy. I bought my set from BRP.

Edit: Here's the link from the other board for install details:

yes, the black is awesome! I'm jealous I didn't get to it first. (I was waiting for the weekend)
I am using appliance epoxy with a textured flat black over that. I'm doing a textured flat for the lower fairing also.
Yeah... definetly... The more I look at Arfrowood's, the more I like it!
I was bidding on a set of stock peg mount brackets to cut down to just a single triangle shape, ( I NEVER ride passengers) but somebody WAY outbid me on ONE of them. POOP!

You should really invest in the new Woodscraft Rearsets. Takes alot of weight off the bike, looks, good, and you can raise the foot pegs. That way to can corner better and not hit your pegs on the ground.

I've had custom rearsets on several bikes. With a few easy mods, the stock ones suit me just fine. Acually, this will be my first bike (not counting my Virago) that I will keep the factory mounts on. Oddly enough, I really like the frame down section covers. AND, these pegs actually feel like they are in the right spot for me.

BUT... You never know, I've done it on every other bike...

Thanks but do I really have to buy sliders from Europe? Are there any in the states with less shipping costs?

Well what's the website for BRP? When I clicked on the link above, it took me to a UK sight. I don't know if I really like the 650shop woodscraft ones.

    Nice!

Where do you reside? Curious to know where the reactors are.
Also, the red stripes on the wheels, what are they??
