I agree, get out and ride! I bought my new Yamaha end of November, even through a cold a$$ winter I just hit 2000 miles, love to ride, and as nice weather is finally here miles will pile up. Doesn't help I have a 1.5 mile commute!

Wish I was out riding. Have not seen my motorcycles since February 26th.
Skill is what keeps you on two wheels.

Situational awareness combined with skill is what keeps you out of harm's way.

ATGATT combined with Situational Awareness and Skill means you might live to ride another day when that deer runs into your bike or that drunk blows through that stop sign.

If Vic wasn't determined to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt what happens when you don't get potty trained, there likely would be more activity in here. It's tough being the human-equivalent of Vag Yeast, but Vic fought through all the naysayers to become the one-celled creature on display here on any given day.

Left on 3 week work trip in February. Somehow got discitis in lumbar region. Barely made it home before I could no longer stand up. 11 days in hospital. 14 says in skilled nursing center, and now recovering at home with home health care.

8 weeks of intravenous antibiotics through a Hickman catheter.

I can now walk with a brace and walker short distances on smooth surfaces.

    Hoping for no permanent damage.

Dang Man! I'm really sorry to hear that! As many miles as you normally ride, this must be worse than quitting smoking and drinking coffee at the same time! Heal up well and I hope you're back in the saddle soon!

Welp I'm not a noob, despite a very low post count. I read just about all the posts but don't comment that often! I bought my bike new in 2003 and loved it ever since, but ya it's getting pretty old. If Kawasaki made a 900 custom with a 1500+ engine I'd be first in line to buy it!
