What would you trade your meanstreak in for?

With victory going under i was thinking about trading in my marauder (streak clone) in for a new hammer s. I ultimately decided against it for several reasons, those mainly being cost of ownership being more for the hammer s (bigger tires cost more, higher insurance). Other reasons include shaft vs belt (less maintenance) and liquid cooled vs air/oil cooled. This being said, what bike would make you consider trading in your meanstreak?

    I should have traded my Meanstreak in on the '15 N1K I put on layaway, but I couldn't. I like both cruisers and sport bikes. But, if I were to trade it these are the bikes (I'm sticking to cruisers here) I would consider;

Yamaha Roadliner/Stratoliner-I love the art deco looks and the motor is one of the best. They handle pretty good too.

2016 HD Low Rider S-the big Milwaukee 8 motor in the Dyna chassis. It's got be a blast to ride.

Indian Springfield-it's set up for good handling and a light front end. The 1811 motor is a blast. All of the big Indians handle and ride really nice. I'm not crazy about the retro look, but you get to like it more once you ride the bikes. The Roadmaster is a bit top heavy though.

VRod-They fly! I thought they handled pretty decent considering that fat rear tire. It's not nearly as bad as the Breakout which does not want to lean over. You just about have to make pole plants to pull off a turn. The clamshell riding position seems to fit me.

Of all of them I probably lean towards the Low Rider S. I haven't ridden one yet, but I have ridden most of the Dyna models and I have to believe that motor in the Dyna chassis is a blast. Wait, reality check: my wallet leans towards a used Roadliner/Stratoliner. Like the Meanstreak, it's a lot of bike for the money.

Honestly don't want to trade in or sell mine, the adv bike route I went with is a real sweet bike, looks aside not everyone likes the looks, it's an amazing machine. I'd like one of each ideally, sport bike Yamaha R1, vaquero bagger cruiser, Harley breakout bar hopper , my current Yamaha super tenere 1200 ADV bike, it's hard to trade in the meanstreak they are a great ride!

I traded my Meanstreak, Voyager, and Versys 650 with combined 100,000 miles in on a '16 Road Gide Ultra one year ago this month.

Not looking to trade mine. The more I look at other bikes ( including new ones, costing several times what my Meanstreak cost me), the more I like my Meanstreak. It's a lot of bike for the money, looks great, performs great, reliable, customizable (if U like), etc. I,m keeping it!. I went out and bought another Kawi (Ninja) for when I'm feeling more sporty. I'm often asked which one I prefer. I honestly cant tell! Like them both for what they are.

I've kept my '02 Mean Streak (bought new in '02) and bought a BMW R Nine T to go with it.

I havent picked up my meanie yet, but I think if I had to get rid of my FJR or the meanie, I'd get a Ducati Daivel.... too much money for me, though... I'd consider a sports car instead.
    Previous bikes:

    89? GS500
    '98 VFR
    '07 M50
'13 FJR yellowish mettalic gray... yellowish?

Think we have similar tastes. The Diavel is a beautiful bike!!! The Panigale isn't chopped liver either!

I did consider the Star Raider as a replacement for the Meanstreak. Rode one once and really liked the handling and cool factor of the bike.

Yeah I like the raider as well, but if I stayed with a cruiser I'd go bagger, vaquero, road glide, etc

Mine is a bit modified. Ohlins fork and shock. Cast wheels off an R1200R to replace the OE spoked wheels with TUBES(!). Header with no cat and a flashed ECU.

It's really nice. The way it's set up it's a very competent sportbike wearing a tuxedo. Nicely different than my Mean Streak which is a much more "laid back" ride. It drives home that Mean Streaks only handle well "for a cruiser". Very nice torquey motor under 6,000 rpm that gets serious above 6,000 rpm when you feel the urge.

It's also 200+ lbs lighter than a Mean Streak which is really nice.

To go for a casual cruise I take the Mean Streak. If I want to play in the twisties the R9T gets the nod. It cruises fast effortlessly compared to the Mean Streak.

It's the last of the "traditional" boxers (the liquid cooled boxers are totally different) and they really did it well. Mine's a 2015, my Christmas present to me in 2014.
