I modified my stock seat and not sure if i like it, Darn it.

so, before the mods, what's the objective of the mods? have you gotten it?
Please post more ...step by step procedure of how to get this done....cause I'm about to destroy my stock seat as well.
my objective of the modification is to keep me from sliding backward every time I take off.
problem is I'm not a giant dude like HD riders...so I'm always somewhere close to the gastank. that's one of the reason you see in my icon...there's a tiny bag; for my drink and my rear

The objective was to get the seat off the tank. And also thinking getting it off the tank would change the look a little ( longer tank ). it's now off the tank but man what a pain to get it formed to look ok. I am not very tall as well and sit forward in the seat too. After you sit that way for a while the seat will break in so to speak.

i like it, is the seat the same or did you do a gel pad?,,like that you painted that black section blue down by the primary..looks cool!

same seat just cut the front down, re stretched the cover.

i like it. i have the same bike...but i'm tall so i sit all the way to the rear of the seat. really looking to get a corbin or mustang soon. or is there another good aftermarket that has a better price?

Looks very nice, clean lines great paint job too. Seat looks great also.

Looks pretty decent.
