    Cool

Seems that way, Rasmith. Most likely the final flattening of the RoadSmart happened from the 1,200 miles ridden to, during, and from the 1,000 ride day-ride. I'm happy it is gone now.

Got out for a fuel tank of riding the other day, and nothing beats rolling on fresh rubber!

    Longhorns

This bull Longhorn didn't seem to be interested in my "Kaw." Fine with me!

Found them near the road when I returned after a short blast to verify some maintenance.

Returned from a two day road trip to Moab, UT crossing over the Independence Pass on the way back yesterday.

    At the pass.

Just west of Moab. Did some exploring before the sun was to set. This rock was named "Jug Handle."

Talking At least the roads were clear - mostly.

Cellphone picture from a couple of Fridays ago. This is about 15 miles north of Alamosa, CO. Couple of hours later, I would find myself with four-way flashers switched on while rolling over packed snow that hadn't melted due to shadows from big rocks and trees.

    Purty!

I see we have similar tastes in bikes.
Skill is what keeps you on two wheels.

Situational awareness combined with skill is what keeps you out of harm's way.

ATGATT combined with Situational Awareness and Skill means you might live to ride another day when that deer runs into your bike or that drunk blows through that stop sign.

    Thanks!

Would love to have as varied a collection as you have, but we do not have the garage space. Everything is a bit squeezed as it is.

RoadSmarts are a decent tire. It'll be interesting to hear what miles you get.

Just fit a new front PR2. Got 9,400 miles on the one that came off. My maintenance log tells me the PR2's are getting way more miles. My tires only get run to the wear bars.

Lots of other maintenance going on in preparing for the June trip.
