Sean and his son joined us for the last Heart of Dixie Riding and Wrenching Tour. We had a blast. We cooked out for lunch, had pizza for dinner, occasionally hydrated ourselves with adult beverages and they stayed here for the night. While he was here, he had noticed that I did not have my chrome rear brake reservoir cover installed. Together we determined that there is a bracket that is required to mount the chrome cover. The previous owner of my bike had removed that bracket to install highway pegs. A few months ago I sold my highway pegs to Pandemonium. Anyhow, while he was here, Sean removed his reservoir cover bracket so that I could take measurements for making a bracket in the future.

A couple of days later I get a text from Sean. He had searched for and found a used bracket online, bought it and had it sent to me.

I believe I will be able to get another season out of them. From what I understand, the Avon Storm II's are no longer being manufactured in the size we need for our meanies.

Should I see if I can still get Avon Storm Ultra 2's while I still have a chance at them? Or should I hold out until I actually need new tires?

Apparently there were both plans on the table for a high(er)-power NA engine feat. over 100HP and even a turbo edition feat. over 160HP :Wow1:

Thought it'd be good read for those who are thinking of slapping a turbo on the beast and wondering about longevity - apparently it was built to support one initially. :D

The closest looking exhaust seems to be the dg hard chrome strippers with stock intake. I would assume its better to go with the same length and diameter of pipe rather than brand of pipe.
