Anyone Run Delkevic?
Hey all, I am in the market for a new exhaust and I am looking really hard at Delkevic. Was looking to see if anyone on these forums runs them and how you like them. I have heard quite a few guys run them on their SV650's and have read a few other posts on other forums. I haven't really heard anything bad about them except from the people that think you get what you pay for and need to shell out 500+ for a name brand slip on. Just because they have never heard of it before. It's a british manufacturer(where they are actually made is beyond me).
So, with that said if you want to give me a lecture on how cheap exhaust(dan moto, delkevic, ect) are a waste but have never installed one on your bike keep your mouth shut. If I want a lecture I would contact a name brand and ask them if I should go with Delkevic or Danmoto and see what they say. Sorry if that comes off as a little stern but it seems every thread I read about these exhaust manufacturers it always turns into a pissing match. Just trying to avoid that.
Rant aside, I'm looking for honest opinions from the guys out there running them, or your buddies that have them on their bikes. I'm looking at a pair of stainless tri-ovals right now for my Z. A little over $300 shipped to my door.

I had one when I had my SV650. No complaints about it. It was finely crafted, sounded good, and a great price for what you get. Slip-on manufacturers must have a ridiculous markup... I can't imagine the materials they use are even close to worth what they charge although I have nothing to back that up. I have also never bought an expensive slipon, so I can't compare the Delkevic to a name-brand slipon. I say go for it. A pair of slipons for $300 - you really can't go wrong.

Well decided to go with them and just placed my order today. Got a pair of Carbon Fiber stubby tri-ovals coming my way. Looks like they just recently added them to their z1000 line up of slip ons. Can't wait to get them on and see how they look and sound! Luke from Delkevic was very helpful! I will definitely post back on here when I get them and shoot some pics of them on the bike.
