My experiences with memory foam is that it hardens over time, especially in cold weather and when exposed to the sun. I remember aircraft seat cushions that always had to be replaced after a couple years.
Seat pads can really help, but sometimes some bikes just don't work for some riders, no matter how many modifications you make.

Yep, that's a cool place. I had a Honda ST1300 with a Corbin heated seat, but it just wasn't quite right. I made the pilgrimage there last year, early summer. I rode from St. George, UT to Hollister, CA in one day ...about 700 miles, I think. I was at the factory early the next morning. Those guys are wizards at forming the butt pocket just right. Love the seat, so I love the bike more.
Now I have a second new bike -- 2015 Ninja 1000. I'll be ordering a Corbin seat for it soon. I'll ride with it awhile to see how it feels, then next year in early summer I'll be heading for Hollister again.
