Got the Muzzy slip-on installed today. It was fairly straight forward, no problems. Now that I've done it once I could do it again in about 15 minutes. I was on my carport, which is between mine and my neighbors house. Holy Moly this thing is loud. I'm hoping that it was just echoing between the houses and not that loud when out on the street. I guess I'll find out tomorrow when I go for the first "Muzzy" ride. I've read they have an optional DB kller if you don't want it so loud, time will tell. Anyone else have any opinions to share on the Muzzy?

How about a picture!?

I have had mine for 3 or 4 months now and I love the sound, people will know you are there. the only thing I would change is the clamp they use on it, because I think that it is cheap. I have put an extra clamp on mine to make sure it has sealed, because I have a very, very small leak when cruising down the road. The leak is small and unoticable unless you are on the bike. You will love the exhaust and when people hear it I think that they are looking for a different bike then one like ours.

i doubt that they're cracking down cause they don't like loud exhausts, more like they're trying to generate useless revenue for the city/county

i bought mine not to long ago and i love it. Its loud alright but in memphis its what you need to be seen. It will take you a little bit to get use to it, after that you wont notice how loud it is anymore.

I didn't get a chance to ride today but I did crank the bike in the backyard. It didn't sound too loud once I got from between the houses. My wife took off so we could go riding in the morning. She has an 06 Ninja 500.

My first Exhaust was a Jardin GP was really loud, and after a month I had to returned for qualities issues, so I got the Muzzy and is the loudest exhaust I ever had, even the harley guys or superports bikers are looking at me to check what exhaust it is.

My wife and i rode to breakfast this morning so I got to check out the new Muzzy. My first impressions are on the negative side. I like a nice mellow exhaust that sounds off when you wind it through the gears, but this thing is just obnoxiously LOUD. It reminds me of the kind of bikers that I questioned their intellect, and now my bike sounds the same. It's the "hey, look at me and my cool bike" kind of loud. The kind of loud that doesn't win friends or influence people. On the positive side, it does provide a quicker throttle response, and the seatopants meter says it increases power slightly. I'll probably sell it and look for something not quite so deafening.

The first day I had mine on, I started it up at work and was drawing attention from across a 4 lane highway. I guess that they are not expecting a sportbike to sound this bad a$$. I love the sound of my bike and do not think that it is as annoying as the Harley guys on their bikes.

the sound harleys make is more like that of a 50 cal machine gun going off.

oldbikertom if you end up deciding on selling it, let me know, i'm in the market for one.

I have let a few of the Harley guys listen to my bike since I have put the exhaust on and they hate it. They try to tell me that I am trying to copy them, and if I want to do that then buy a real bike. I have to ride by a Harley hang out (local clubhouse) on the way home every night and they are usually out there and I love to screw with them. I would not sell the exhaust if I were you, but you should not have any problem if you do.
