Exhaust Y Pipe and Custom Exhaust

    Hi,
I am starting the process to make some Y Pipes which will eliminate the stock cats and box along with Custom Mufflers.
I am also fabricating an entire muffler unit that will be completely contained under the bike, where the stock box is, so no additional side exhaust is needed,
I am posting a Want To Buy ad in the classified for a Stock Header/Cats/Box unit that I can use for the prototype.
I will ad some posts as this develops.
    Thanks
    tuts

HURRY UP! Very cool ideas. Just what the bike needs. I think I like the full contained model...

Remember also the 2010+ z1000 is the exact same. So both bikes would also benefit from this mod option.

All I need to get started is the stock unit.
I don't want to use my original one because then my N1K can't be ridden during the process.
I have two designs for the complete under bike unit already rough drafted and conceptually designed.
    Thanks

On the website, search keyword Catalog will give you the downloadable catalog [I couldnt find it otherways].
I like the collectors they have also.

I wonder if these do much also,

For me, even if I had the extra cash needed, I just don't see over $1,000 worth of product in the aftermarket full systems or $500 in a set of slip ons.

I am sure my stock system will be sitting in storage forever like so many other parts from bikes I no longer have. By weight, it would probably be $100 just to ship? What is your budget?

Can't believe nobody has done it yet, would love to see a catalytic converter eliminator that would allow retention of stock header and exhaust. 4-1-2

If anyone comes up with a pipe like I am talking about, put me down for one. Would love to get rid of the ugly box on the bottom!

Me too! Less heat and it might even leave room for a centerstand!

I'm in, would love to see / have one. was always wondering if the exhaust on the Ninja 650 would work, probably be restrictive?
