229 is a killer deal on the VH. You're gonna see some good weight savings too... I just weighed the stock exhaust cans and together they weigh 15lbs!

I'm sure those VH pipes can't be more than a 1lb a side. Gonna be interested to see them on an Orange/White.

    Installed Brawlers today after work.
Took about 35 min including clean up.
Left side about 5 min, right side about 20min due to exhaust valve cable removal.10min to set juice box and clean up.
Shaved 18lbs off bike,i weighed everything i took off when done.
These things are loud! Just riding normally my wife said she could hear me a block and a half away.
Will post some pics next day off.Especially that elusive left side pic everyone is asking about.
They look even better than i thought they would.
As everyone who saw the bike today said...Man those things are fn awesome they look HOT!
Am Very Happy.Thinking about the baffles though cause when you get on it hard its LOUD!
I mean gettin everyone looking at you including the cops..which is not good in my book.
    Thats it for now....PEACE

I just placed my order with bikerperformance. $229.00usd. I had heard them only online, and am a bit surprised about the noise level mentioned above. I felt that with that huge cat before the pipes, noise level would not be much more. Anyway, I am used to a GYTR pipe on my FZ1, and it's pretty loud---I guess I will soon find out. One thing that really sold me on these urban brawlers was the look, as well as the weight savings--easier than me going on a diet!!!

They are amazingly light maybe a pound each if that. They cool down really fast too, nice if you cover your bike.
Im getting used to the sound level very quickly. All my other bikes had pipes on them inluding my sv i still own.
And they do look spectacular on the bike, all my friends say so and at work strangers gather and take pics almost daily.
Im very proud of her.Im waiting on frame sliders from france they shipped today. Can be seen at bikepics.com Z1000 2011 both bikes have them a blck one and a green and black that i love take a look.....peace ...Barry

How does the bike perform with these pipes Barry? Any loss in the low end? I have the Ninja1K and am waiting for the release of the black ones. These pipes look killer and leave plenty of room for baggage.

    Thanks.

Awesome pics, thanks. I wonder how feasible it'd be to remove the plastic edge near the base of the ride hand side exhaust. Looks a little out of place without the stock exhaust, and it'd match the left hand side that doesn't have that plastic.

It actually looks better than the pics seem to show. Also its metal so trimming would ot be easy.
Really when your standing next to it you wouldnt think about it.
Going to try to post some other pics to show you.
