Does anybody have experience with AGV leather jackets? Doing some comparison shopping for a leather jacket before it gets too cold. AGV seems to have very competative prices on their jackets compared to the big names (ICON, JR, A*). The leather is heavy (1.4-1.5mm), and the styles are pleasing to my eye. I just want to see if there are any +/- comments towards this brand. I already have an AGV helmet and I can't say enough good things about it. Do they tend to run big, small, on target?
Thanks a 1x10^6. :righton:

I can tell you that their sizing is not very clear and no one here in the states has a clue as to what size is what. I did find a store in knoxville, TN that had a two piece suit that I was looking at and it seemed to be very well made.

AGV supplies leathers to Keith Code's Calfiornia Superbike School. They seem to hold up well in crashes.

Don't buy them unless you can return them or try them on, the sizing is off. My friend bought a two piece and couldn't pull the pants up.. and the jacket was way to small.

I have the AGV podium leather jacket and really like it, thick leather, well built....., but like mentionned before watch out for the sizing.

I think I recall the podium having differnt sizing than other AGV. The question is, does it fit as the "vague" AGV said it would or does it fit smaller than expected?

I have an older AGV Rage jacket and I really like it. It has good, heavy leather, hard armor and mine has a zip out vest liner. It is a size 44, the same as my Icon Neo-Daytona and haven't had a problem with the size. It is a good jacket that lasts a long time. Recommended... :2cents:

UPDATE

Just wanted to update this thread. I ended up buying this jacket from Dennis Kirk (pretty good deal for the item IMHO). Most folks seemed to have issues with the sizing, but I ordered the same size as others I had tried on. It fit perfect. I suspect that the problem comes with the EU sizing that is also listed with most of their products.

If anyone is looking for a heavy leather jacket for not too much money, the AGV RT is worth a look. Thanks to all who gave their opinion in on the subject.
