Nice Wheelie pics guys. I LOVE the stand-ups, I haven't got that comfortable with wheelies yet, but its exciting no matter how high or low they are. I think I have only brought it up about 1'-1 1/2'. Keep it up.... literally!!!
They used to sell them in black, but not any more. They are great, I like the more forward lower position that they put you in. There are other guys on this board that have them too. I bought a second pair of them in silver to run on my ZRX.
To the poster..... get some textile or leather pants. If your gonna be taking the extra chance with your bike you need all the protection you can get. I just got a pair off new enough for 39.99... but i have leathers too. Just a heads up i wish i had my picture from when i went down b/c it will make you think twice.. road rash sucks!
This is my first response on this forum and I hope it goes through as I really have to tell you how bloody amazing that bike is. I really love it. I wish I thought of it for myself.

I had my exhaust ceramic coated black with a smooth gloss finish. I got my rims powder coated black semi gloss and I put red rim tape around the rims. Bike has a fresh set of Michelin Pilot Power 2CT. I still have things to do but it is comming along.
I need to get better pictures still I will but I am in the middle of moving.
Do not paint it will flake. Tried this and ignored others... Fail same goes for powder coat. It could work for the muffler but you will have problems with the mid pipe and the header.
You will need to get the header and midpipe ceramic coated. I used high temp paint with "ceramic" particles and it did not last. The paint didn't flake off due to temperature... it got sandblasted by the grit thrown up by the front wheel.
dude that blackout is sexy, you should try black pvc pipe on the fork tubes< its a little work but looks good, i think. anyway i hope i can get mine looking as good as yours.
well like i said it is a good bit of work, pick up some black pvc from lowes or such. i think it was 2 inch, not sure, but you can measure your fork tubes. i used some polishing compound to shine it up and get rid of the white lettering on it. then you start cutting using a hack saw, 1st i cut the lengths i needed to fit between the triple trees. then take the hacksaw and cut the pipe lengthwise from end to end. then you just have pry it open and slide it over the tubes. i supose you could use some black silicone to seal up the gap left on the inside, but you cant really see it unless you are examining the area.
the bad part is the bottom of the tubes where they get thicker. i just used a piece of the scrap and it fits with a bigger gap in the back, but it cant be seen because of the front fender.
i think you could do it without cutting the pipe lengthwise by removing the fork tubes from the bike and sliding them on in pieces as you put the forks back on. i just didnt have room to try that.
hope this is useful, i have had mine on for about 12,000 miles with no problems
the 2nd pic (with the gold on bottom) is what is left behind where it gets thicker, thats where you have to add the next layer. i rounded off the edge up top, but have never got around to polishing it up
